Full details of Britain’s medals can be found here.
From the perspective of the clock, there were some excellent pbs, even from those not securing medals. Katy Marchant moved up a spot to 6th in the flying 200 rankings with an 11.135 before losing out for bronze to Vicky Williamson who was one thousandth quicker in qualifying. Jonathan Mitchell had a breakout championships, winning bronze in the kierin and obliterating pbs in the sprint and kilo with 10.183 (for 14th all-time) and 63.553 (16th).
There was a breakthrough also for Sophie Capwell, a first year junior of immense promise. Her 11.779 makes her the 5th fastest junior ever and 16th fastest woman overall. To top it off she manged a 36.065 for teh 500m, 15th fastest all-time. She narrowly missed out on the medals in both events, but watch out next year.
Alex Joliffe also rocked the junior rankings with a 64.413 in the kilo, 6th fastest junior of all-time in Britain.
Cyclostats will update the rankings for all performances in Athens in the coming days.
